What Is a Full Service Renovation in Vancouver?
A full service renovation in Vancouver means having one experienced local team manage your entire project — from early planning and permit coordination through to the final walkthrough. You don't manage trades. You don't chase timelines. You don't translate between a designer and a contractor.
At PCC Renovations, we provide complete end-to-end renovation management for homeowners, strata properties, and investment landlords across Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Whether it's a whole home overhaul or a multi-room transformation, our structured approach keeps every stage organized, on budget, and accountable.
The PCC Difference
Design coordination and layout planning — finishes, layouts, and spatial planning handled as one cohesive process
Permit applications and inspection scheduling — fully BC Building Code compliant, submitted and tracked by our team
Trade scheduling, sequencing, and oversight — the right trades on site at the right time, every time
Material selection, ordering, and delivery coordination — no delays from missing or mis-ordered materials
Quality control checks at every stage — structured reviews throughout the build, not just at the end
Final walkthrough and project delivery — full deficiency review and warranty handover before we close the project

Renovation Challenges We Help You Avoid
Most renovation stress comes from poor structure upfront. These are the six most common problems homeowners across Vancouver and Metro Vancouver face — and how PCC prevents each one.
Poor Trade Sequencing
When electricians, plumbers, and carpenters work out of order, rework and delays are inevitable. We schedule all trades in the correct sequence from day one.
Budget Creep
Unclear scope and late design decisions are the #1 cause of cost overruns in Vancouver renovations. We lock scope before construction starts.
Permit Delays in BC
Incorrect permit documentation can stall a project for weeks. We handle all applications, inspections, and BC Building Code compliance from the start.
Communication Gaps
Multiple contractors without central leadership creates confusion and conflicting instructions. One PCC project lead keeps all parties aligned.
Late Design Decisions
Changing finishes or layouts mid-construction significantly impacts timelines and cost. We finalize all design decisions before work begins.
Inconsistent Finishes
Disconnected tradespeople produce disconnected results. Our full service model ensures a cohesive look across every room in your home.

Different properties have different compliance requirements, durability needs, and renovation strategies. PCC adjusts accordingly.

Full Service Renovation Across Metro Vancouver & the Lower Mainland
PCC Renovations provides full service home renovation across Vancouver and the surrounding Lower Mainland, from the North Shore to Chilliwack. Every project — whether you're in Coquitlam or Abbotsford — receives the same structured process, the same single point of contact, and the same quality standard.
Why Local Expertise Matters for Full Service Renovations in Metro Vancouver
Vancouver has among the highest permit fees in BC, strict seismic requirements for structural work, and older housing stock — pre-1980 homes that frequently contain asbestos or knob-and-tube wiring. Condo and strata renovations across Burnaby, Richmond, New Westminster, and Vancouver proper each involve building-specific bylaws that vary significantly. Our team has navigated these requirements across hundreds of projects throughout the Lower Mainland — so your renovation doesn't get stopped halfway through by a compliance detail you didn't know about.
Real Results. Real Voices.

Frequently Asked Questions
No pressure. No surprises. Just honest answers from Vancouver's trusted renovation experts.
What does 'full service renovation' actually include?
Full service means PCC manages every aspect of your renovation — from initial planning and design coordination through permits, trade scheduling, material ordering, quality control, and final walkthrough. You deal with one team, not multiple contractors.
How is this different from hiring a general contractor?
Many general contractors coordinate trades but don't handle design, permits, or material procurement. PCC provides true end-to-end project management — including scope planning, permit applications, design coordination, and post-completion warranty support.
Do you work on condos and strata properties?
Yes. We regularly manage strata-governed renovations across Metro Vancouver, including Form B approvals, bylaw compliance, elevator bookings, and working within restricted hours.
How long does a full service renovation take?
Timelines vary based on scope. A kitchen or bathroom renovation typically takes 6-10 weeks from permit approval to completion. Whole-home projects range from 12-20 weeks. We provide a detailed schedule during the planning phase.
What areas do you serve?
PCC provides full service renovations across Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Richmond, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, New Westminster, Langley, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, and Abbotsford.
How much does a whole-home renovation cost?
It depends on scope more than square footage, which is why we quote from a room-by-room, line-item estimate rather than a per-square-foot guess. For calibration, our 2026 planning ranges run $50,000–$85,000 for a mid-range kitchen, $18,000–$35,000 for a standard full bathroom, and $60,000–$120,000 for a legal basement suite.
How much contingency should we carry?
15–20% on homes older than 25 years. Lower Mainland housing from the 1960s–90s regularly hides aluminum or undersized wiring, poly-B plumbing and out-of-code venting that must be corrected once opened. A contingency that's planned is a decision; one that isn't is a crisis.
Should we move out during a full renovation?
For whole-home scopes, usually yes — it's faster and cheaper when trades aren't working around a household. For phased renovations staying is workable; we sequence the work and contain dust so one zone stays livable. We'll tell you honestly which your scope is.
Let's Build a Better Business Environment.
From retail upgrades to industrial expansions — PCC Renovations handles every project with transparency, precision, and 15+ years of proven craftsmanship.
