Do I need a permit for a home renovation in Vancouver?
Most renovations that touch structure, plumbing, gas or electrical need a permit from the City of Vancouver, and separate trade permits are issued for the electrical and plumbing work. Cosmetic work like paint and flooring generally does not. We confirm the exact permit scope for your project during the consultation and handle the application as part of the job.
Can you renovate a condo or strata unit in Vancouver?
Yes — strata renovations are a large share of our Vancouver work. We prepare the documents strata councils ask for (scope, insurance certificates, WorkSafeBC clearance), follow the building's rules on working hours, elevator booking and noise, and keep the council informed through the job.
